Paola, ballerina di tango, ha vissuto e lavorato in Argentina, amante della musica e in particolare della musica di tango. È ben presto diventata una TDJ molto apprezzata per le sue conoscenze musicali e per il suo continuo lavoro dedicato alla ricerca della qualità dei file musicali. Spesso presente nelle milonghe italiane, è nota per l’energia che riesce a creare nelle sue serate. Attenta e sensibile ai gusti e ai desideri dei ballerini con cui ama interagire e che sono ispirazione e stimolo essenziale durante la milonga.

Paola, tango dancer, has lived and worked in Argentina, music lover and particularly of tango music. She is well soon become one appreciated TDJ for her musical knowledge and for her continuous work dedicated to the research about quality of music files. Often present in the Italian milongas, she is known for the energy that she succeeds in creating in her evenings. Careful and sensitive to the tastes and desires of the dancer with which she loves to interact and that are inspiration and essential stimulus during the milonga.

“Incontro il Tango come ballerino nella prima decade degli anni 2000. Una musica che mia ha sempre affascinato e che per molti anni mi è passata accanto stuzzicando la mia curiosità.
Diversi anni di ascolto di Astor Piazzolla fino ad un inaspettato regalo che mi conduceva finalmente ad una Scuola di Tango: da quel momento fu “amore a prima vista”.
Inizio a Musicalizzare prima in alcune “pratiche”, per poi accedere in Milonga come Tango Dj nel 2011.
Le mie selezioni sono il frutto di un lungo ascolto e studio tra le mura di casa per poi selezionare in Milonga le tande che nascono anche con l’empatia che arriva dalla pista.
Prediligo la “epoca de Oro”: dagli anni ’30 agli anni ’50.
“I discovered tango as a dancer in the first decade of the 2000s. It’s a music that has always fascinated me and that for many years passed by me, piquing my curiosity.
Several years of listening to Astor Piazzolla led to an unexpected gift that finally led me to a tango school: from that moment it was love at first sight.
I began to musicalize first in some “practices,” then entered the milonga as a tango DJ in 2011.
My selections are the result of extensive listening and study at home, and then at the milonga, selecting the tandas that are born from the empathy that comes from the dance floor.
I prefer the “Golden Era”: from the 1930s to the 1950s.”

Ciò che amo del fare il DJ è condividere la mia profonda passione e il mio amore per la musica del tango con i ballerini e soprattutto vedere tutti questi volti felicemente esausti alla fine della milonga.
Credo che il DJ sia un narratore che accompagna il pubblico attraverso una storia unica con la sua selezione musicale. Adoro le mie storie dai tanti sapori diversi, guarnite con passione ed emozioni profonde! E ultimo ma non meno importante… adoro il lieto fine…
Ho iniziato a fare il DJ nel 2010 e da allora ho avuto il piacere di far parte e partecipare a numerosi festival e maratone internazionali di tango.
Il tango per me è amore a prima vista e sicuramente per tutta la vita.
What I love about DJ-ing is to share my deep passion and love for tango music with the dancers and most of all see all these happily exhausted faces at the end of the milonga.
I believe that the DJ is a storyteller taking the audience through an unique story with his/her music selection. I love my stories with lots of different flavors, garnished with passion and deep emotions! And last but not least… I love the happy ends…
I started DJ-ing in 2010 and since then I have had the pleasure to be part and participate in multiple international tango festivals and marathons.
Tango for me is love at a first sight and definitely for a lifetime.

Appassionato di Tango Argentino dal 2004, con ancestrali esperienze da Dj in radio locali della Toscana dalla fine degli anni ’80), musicalizzo dall’anno 2008. Dj resident per l’associazione “La Maquina Tanguera” nelle milonghe della Versilia e della Liguria, partecipo come Tj in numerosi eventi nazionali ed internazionali. Nelle mie serate propongo selezioni tradizionali di tanghi dagli anni ’30 agli anni ’50 durante le quali non possono mancare tandas di D’Arienzo, Di Sarli, Troilo, Lomuto, Biagi, Fresedo e Pugliese, intervallate da cortinas, che, talvolta, possono essere ballabili. Mi piace ricercare molto nell’ampia discografia tanguera, proponendo anche pezzi meno conosciuti, ma di ottima ballabilità. Selezione musicale: Anni ’30-’40-’50 e pezzi tradizionali suonati da orchestre attuali.
Passionate about Argentine tango since 2004, with extensive DJ experience on local radio stations in Tuscany since the late 1980s, I’ve been making music since 2008. I’m a resident DJ for the “La Maquina Tanguera” association in the milongas of Versilia and Liguria, and I perform as a DJ at numerous national and international events. During my evenings, I perform traditional tango selections from the 1930s to the 1950s, including tandas by D’Arienzo, Di Sarli, Troilo, Lomuto, Biagi, Fresedo, and Pugliese, interspersed with cortinas, which can sometimes be danced. I enjoy exploring the vast tango discography, also featuring lesser-known but highly danceable pieces. Music selection: 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, along with traditional pieces played by contemporary orchestras.
